Changing a user's password

Your users may change their cPanel account password from within cPanel. They will need to supply the old password in order to create a new password. However, if the old password is forgotten you can change the password in WHM without supplying the old password. This demonstration shows how to modify the password for a cPanel account from within WHM.

Simply follow the simple instructions below.

1. Select the Account Functions link.

2. Select the Password Modification link.

3. Enter the new password in the text box and select the account you wish to change the password for. You can select the account by domain name or by username. Click the Change Password button.
