Creating a FTP account

FTP accounts allow users (for example, web designers) to access your website files, and perform such tasks as uploading, downloading and deletion. This demonstration shows how to create a FTP account.

Simply follow the simple instructions below.

1. Select the FTP Manager link.

2. Select the FTP Accounts link.

3. Select the Add FTP Account link.

4. Enter the following details for the FTP account you are creating:
   • A login name,
   • A (secure) password,
   • If you wish to set a quota on the account (a limit on the amount of space the account can use) enter it here,
   • Enter the base directory the user will have access to,
   • Click the Create button.
