Creating a POP3 email account

A POP3 email account will allow you to access your email from a email client (for example, Outlook Express or Thunderbird) or via webmail. This will allow you to send and receive emails to and from this email address. This demonstration shows how to create a POP3 email account.

Simply follow the simple instructions below.

  1. Select the Mail link.

  2. Select the Add/Remove/Manage Accounts link.

  4. Enter the following details for the POP3 email account you are creating
    • A username,
    • A (secure) password,
    • If you wish to limit the amount of space this account can use, enter it in the quota box,
    • Click the Create button.

  5. Well Done! You have successfully created a POP3 email account. You must now configure your email client to receive email from this address, unless you intend to use webmail.
