Generating a SSL certificate and signing request

A certificate signing request (CSR) is required by a certification authority (CA) to produce a SSL certificate which will secure a domain. Please note that you may generate a certificate signing request, but do not have the privileges to install a SSL certificate. Please raise a support ticket for this and we will install it for you. This demonstration shows how to generate a SSL certificate and signing request.

If you wish to purchase a SSL certificate, we strongly recommend you visit ProntoSSL for low cost SSL certificates.
