Editing a package

When creating a new user account, the account is setup and assigned limits based upon a chosen package. This demonstration shows how to edit a package within WHM.

WARNING: If you already have accounts using the package which you edit, the limits of the existing accounts will be altered accordingly. This is similar to upgrading/downgrading these acounts. If you do not wish this to happen you should create a new package.

Simply follow the simple instructions below.

  1. Select the Packages link.

  2. Select the Edit Packages link.

  3. Select the package you wish to edit and click the Edit button.

  4. Make any changes you would like and then click the Edit button (shell access and IP will have no effect unless you have specifically been granted rights to access these).
