Locating the skeleton directory

When you create a new cPanel account the contents of your skeleton directory are copied to the new account. Your skeleton directory should therefore contain at the very least a default page. You can however add any other files you wish to be copied over to your new cPanel account. This demonstration shows how to locate your skeleton directory.

Simply follow the simple instructions below.

1. Select the Account Functions link.

2. Select the Skeleton Directory link.

3. The location of your skeleton directory is displayed here. Any content you upload to this directory will be used as the default page for all new accounts.
